PRODUCER’S CUT - Kerry Collins - “I Plan On Making It Mine”
Kerry Collins was asked by a media member on Wednesday “Is this your team?” Collins promptly responded, “I don’t know if it is yet, but I plan on making it mine.”
The quarterback situation in Tennessee continues to be a hot topic. Listening to the audio from interviews on Wednesday, even the team and staff still differ on what to do. For example:
When asked where Vince Young will watch the game, Coach Fisher alluded to Young possibly watching from the coaches box to hear play calls and watch the plays develop from a different level view. “Whatever we decide, we’re going to do what’s best for Vince,” Coach Fisher.
When Albert Haynesworth was asked what he would do if he were the coach, Haynesworth suggested the best solution would be to use a two quarterback system maximizing both quarterbacks talents.
With rumors swirling that Vince Young has lost the Titan’s locker room support, it still seems apparent that no one has told the players. They seem to be supporting Collins starting but it doesn’t seem that they’ve totally written Young off as well.
